CITES-documented python leather bags from Indonesia
We make python leather bags by hand in our Jakarta workshop. Every skin we use is backed by verified CITES documentation, and every shipment includes its CITES documents.
No skin without CITES documents
No python skin enters our Jakarta workshop without verified CITES documentation. We refuse any skin that comes without it.
We source skins only from licensed, traceable Indonesian suppliers. CITES Appendix II compliance is the basis for everything we make, from a single bag to a private-label production run.
What CITES means for python leather
CITES is the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. It is an agreement between governments that regulates international trade in listed wild animals and plants. Each listed species is placed in an appendix that sets how strictly its trade is controlled.
Species in Appendix II can be traded across borders with an export permit from the exporting country. The permit is meant to show that the animal was obtained legally and that the trade will not threaten the species in the wild. Python species used for leather are generally listed in Appendix II.
What ships with your order
CITES documents are included with every shipment that leaves our workshop, whether you order one bag or a full production run. Keep them with your purchase records. They are the papers to show if customs, or one of your own customers, asks about the leather.

Your side of the border
Your country may have its own rules for python products, on top of the CITES documents we include. Some countries ask for separate import paperwork, and some countries or states restrict the import or sale of exotic leather.
Please check with your local customs or wildlife authority before you order, especially if you plan to resell. If they need to see paperwork, we can share the CITES documents for your shipment on request.
Ask us about the paperwork
Whether you are a brand checking a new supplier or buying one bag for yourself, message us on WhatsApp. Tell us the piece or the order you have in mind, and we will explain the documents that come with it.
